Each compartment has a shim holder with an easy-pick edge, making it simple to take the shim out.

The MotoXLab tab shows the timing chain side of the cylinder head. This makes it easy to remember the correct position of every part and prevents mixing them up.

Magnets on the bottom keep the organizer firmly in place on your workbench.
